This is a very good Trefid tablespoon made in London in 1702 by John Ladyman. It is in very good condition, very good bowl and unworn reeded rat tail, the hallmarks are rubbed but the date letter is readable, the maker is more rubbed but is by Ladyman, he has a very distinctive mark, see photos. It is 19cms long and weighs 45grams, it has period owners initials EI over MP. A fine early 18th century spoon.
