1972 MINT IN BOX SILVER SPOONS. Created to commentate the Queens Silver Wedding & is based in the sculptures of James Woodford.

Comes boxed with original numbered certificate. A fabulous solid silver heraldic spoon set produced by Richard Comyns and designed by James Woodford. With heavy silver gilt terminals featuring heraldic creatures and coat of arms depicting the queens royal lineage. The back of each spoon carries the usual hallmarks for London 1972. This set was commissioned by the library of imperial history.

The Leopard head essay appears mark appears on the front and the top. Each spoon is intricately detailed as pictured and are all in new MINT condition. The set is substantially made weighing 334g and has its original case and certificate of authenticity. Each spoon measures about 12cm. List of heraldic designs in full. The Griffin of Edward lll.
