Welcome to William Sharpe Antiques. Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful Victorian sterling silver handled part fruit service, made by Francis Higgins II of London, c-1848 & 1850. This beautiful set includes four knives and six forks, having been produced in the popular Queens pattern. The handles are sterling silver, with the blades and tines silver plated.
Condition is good used, with no major damage to note. Each handle features a well executed monogram, with the hallmarks being about 60% overall (some wearing). A nice set to add to or complete the collection.
The knives and forks measure 21cm and 17.5cm long respectively, with the set having a combined weight of 372gms unpacked. To see my other items!
