A superb boxed beautifully designed thick gauge sterling silver tankard or mug. It is hallmarked for Sheffield 1977 with the makers marks being BM for Birmingham Mint. It was made as a commemorative piece for the Silver Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. It is in perfect condition being free from dings splits and repairs and the inside is perfectly clean. The box has a few marks to the exterior and the blue card inside has torn. The tankard measures 4.5 inches (11.5cms) to the top of the handle by 3.25 inches (8.2cms) across the rim and 2.75 inches (7.1cms) across the base.
