On offer today is a very nice late Victorian 48 piece Part Canteen of hallmarked silver cutlery. The combined weight is a staggering 3888 grams (125.02 troy ounces). And each piece is made of thick gauge silver throughout. Each is engraved to the front with a lovely crest and always have been, definitely no erasures either. All date to London, Makers are Z Barraclough and Sons. Pattern is Queens double struck, anthemion heel. Perfect for making up a canteen of this divine pattern. 12 dessert forks-7 inches in length-743 grams. 12 dinner forks-8.25 inches in length-1238 grams combined. 12 dessert spoons-7.125 inches in length-759 grams combined. 10 tablespoons-8 inches in length-972 grams combined. 2 sauce ladles-7 inches in length-176 grams combined.
