Grant MacDonald for The Mercers Company a stunning Solid Sterling Silver Beaker to Commemorate The Golden Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth 11, 2002. An absolutely stunning solid sterling silver beaker made by Grant MacDonald, commissioned by The Mercers Company, to Commemorate The Golden Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth 11 in 2002. Only 300 of these beakers were made. The beaker depicts a queen in the Pre-Raphaelite style probably based on Queen Elizabeth 1st with long flowing hair topped with a crown and band of flowers. At the base she is surmounted by stylised oak leaves and surrounded by garlands that are mounted with a ribbon which is engraved "To commemorate the golden jubilee of her majesty Queen Elizabeth II". Decoration superb craftsmanship see photos. Condition in excellent condition; no dings, dents or repairs see pictures for condition.
