The teapot is fitted with a domed hinged hallmarked cover, which also features fluted decoration. The cover is surmounted by the original carved painted wood and sterling silver fluted, cushion shaped finial. The teapot retains the original angular carved painted wood handle with a plain scrolling thumbpiece.
The cream jug and sugar bowl have plain angular sterling silver handles ornamented with plain moulded decoration. The sugar bowl and cream jug retain the original gilded interior. This Edwardian tea service is a very good gauge of silver, very good quality and in excellent condition in keeping with age. Each piece has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition.
