Offered for sale is a superior sterling silver model of the Royal Coronation Coach, produced by the Royal warrant holders Toye, Kenning and Spencer in 1977. This has been beautifully crafted in Sterling Silver to to commemorate Queen Elizabeth II Silver Jubilee.
A very rare and collectable item. Beautifully made with great attention to detail by the Royal Makers in 1685, it bears the Toye Kenning and Spencer Hallmark and special Jubiliee hallmark which was only used in 1977, at the time of release this was only the 2nd such hallmark, the previous one being for the Silver jubilee of King George V and Queen Mary in 1935. Toye Kenning and Spencer commissioned Ronald Barbier, one of Birmingham's finest pattern makers to create the patterns for this coach and it truly is a masterpiece in silver This such item is rarely open for sale as they are much cherished and scarce to Royal collectors A stunning limited edition piece.
